New York, NY,December 14, 2011, In a way we are right in time and in tune in presenting to the world our new technology, Nujobi.com. After all today Time Magazine named "the protester" the person of the year for 2011 and rightfully so. In Egypt the people that filed to the streets to fight with hope for change made impact. The New York City protesters The occupy movement were going to say something.. eventually. Bravo to all people that feel that they have a voice now, and to all we say caution.
We have entered this new age with a variety of new stimuli presented to us through social media, like facebook, twitter, and other forms of traditional media. Sometimes I am sure that it may seem that some take strong positions without having any clear direction. This might be because this new crowd voice is not exactly what journalism or information has been meant to be.
This may seem like a contradiction considering that Nujobi.com is in some ways a social service to a community but we want to clarify Nujobi.com is definitely not a new social media tool. Nujobi is a marketplace where people bring curated information, to sell information , buy information after qualifying it , and where they publish information through our tablet publishing tool NewsHoTBox, currently for the iphone.
Nujobi is a little bit of the old and a little bit of the new. It takes what some old hippies can see as a need to deliver information and ties it together with some pretty good tech. The tech will never be good enough , it will always need to be improved but its a start. Nujobi is a beginning attempt to re-invent the news industry, stop plagiarism, and an open platform for those who believe they have at least one side of a story to present and get paid.
